Located on the outskirts of town, the motel is directly opposite a supermarket. It's a great base to visit other places in the South Island, with the road to Nelson nearby. the room is clean and well equipped with Sky TV and a comfortable bed. There is also a free spa available.
Some guests have reported that the barbeque and pool area need maintenance, and the moteliers were less than cordial and unprofessional when checking out.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and I had a fantastic experience. The location of this place is perfect, with some nice takeaway shops conveniently right opposite a supermarket and the town centre just a short walk away. The service here was top-notch, with the housekeeping staff doing an excellent job keeping the rooms clean and tidy. The amenities provided in the room were great, including ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, and even a mini-bar. I also loved that the room had a spacious sitting area with a dining table and a patio where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus too!
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The staff here were friendly and helpful, and the room amenities and services provided were of high quality.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Asure Sundowner Motel. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, with a convenient kitchenette and wifi. The motel is well situated, right across the street from a shopping center and a Speight's Ale House. The management was friendly, informative, and helpful throughout my visit. I would highly recommend this motel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel was conveniently located in a pleasant area, handy to everything we needed, including the race track which we visited. The hotel had great facilities, including a decent sized pool and a range of TV channels to watch the footy. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with a warm welcome and plenty of room.
There was nothing we didn't like.
